Mark Torrie has over 10 years of professional experience, working with players with a wide range of abilities and backgrounds. Mark started working with kids in rural Scotland where he completed his HND in Sports Coaching and Development from Dundee College. Mark has certifications through the Scottish Football Association (SFA), USSF, and the NSCAA. Since moving stateside he has attained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise & Movement Science from William Paterson University with a main concentration in physical education. On the soccer side Mark has worked in the Metrostars player development system, as well as coaching Olympic development level players in Staten Island, NY. After a short stint coaching with Matchfit Academy, Mark returned to his roots up in Bergen County at Teaneck High School.

Joseph Riggio is head of Strength & Conditioning at Varsity House. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Physiology, and has been a Human Anatomy & Physiology professor at Montclair State University in New Jersey for the past six years. Coach Joe has published research in immunology, endocrinology, and molecular biology. Such topics include papers on the metabolic effects of concussion, auto immune rheumatoid arthritis and testosterone production.
Joe has been a performance enhancement coach for over a decade and holds multiple certifications to complement his education and hands-on experience. He has logged well over 15,000 training hours in the gym, working with hundreds of high school and college athletes from a variety of sports that include; soccer, football, wrestling, track & field, baseball, MMA fighters, basketball and hockey.
Tom Hunt has over 8 years professional experience, coaching a wide range of ages and abilities, including select travel teams, adult classes and conducting educational clinics for aspiring coaches. Since departing England, where he gained a Bachelor of Science in Sport & Exercise Development, Tom has been certified through the USSF, NSCAA and AYSO. In the last few years he has helped develop an elite Academy program in Montclair, NJ, including advanced level teams with regular participation in the National Super Y-League through to players gaining ODP and US national honors.
Tom is currently a PE teacher in Hoboken and in addition to his ongoing adult soccer coaching classes with 510soccer; he will be a welcome addition to our program in the coming months.

Dan Peragallo is currently a student athlete at William Paterson University, majoring in business. Dan has played both on the field and in goal in his first two years for the Pioneers men’s soccer team. Next year as a co-captain he will be shooting for the starting goalie job. This summer he is playing for the U20 Jersey Knights soccer club in the Super-Y league. In his senior year of high school he was awarded several honors including top ten goalie in the state by the Soccer Coaches of New Jersey. Dan has worked at Victory Soccer Camp and has been an assistant soccer coach for two North Brunswick teams. He currently holds an F license.

Kelly Diaz currently attends The Ohio Valley University in West Virgina. Kelly is the starting goal keeper for the Fighting Scots after impressing throughout his youth career on the State and National Level. Kelly has been a great addition working well with the younger kids in the Speedsters camps whilst focusing more on the Goal Keeper training on the advanced camps. Kelly has also helped train a few of the current crop of Speed Soccer Goal Keepers that play in High School throughout the Northern Valley. A Key addition to the Speed Soccer staff, Kelly is looking forward to increasing his role in the Academy over the coming years.
